Influences

I've taken inspiration from many different music videos and put them all into my music video. For example I have taken the idea from 'Call your girlfriend' and the female dancing alone with headlights behind her. The audience are still able to denote the female protagonist (Robyn) dancing, however there is a mist and a silhouette about the body whilst she is dancing. In my music video I will be using car headlights to light up the female protagonist who is dancing and this will create a silhouette and/or show emphasise on her dancing (depending on whether the car headlights will be behind or in front of her).

Also i have taken inspiration for the location from the music video 'U don't have to call' - usher. The setting is a carpark an there are cars in the background with their headlights on shining in the background.
I have also taken inspiration from many music videos that involve dancing in dark areas.
I have also taken major influence from the music video, 'little boots' by motorway. I will be filming thinking much like this in the dark but I will be lit with car lights and the editing (post film) I will be editing it to have a double shadow giving it the effect of what the audience can denote in this music video. The face high a low saturation and then a high hue. This makes the audience denote that she is empty and there is a distancing effect to this.
Even though my music video 'Night Drive Loneliness' by Garbage will not be in black and white much like 'Little Boots' I will be testing how an effect looks on the music video, I feel that this will add an effect that will increase the tension.
